Kol Halev Performance Ensemble is seeking actors, singers and /or dancers for next fall’s remounting of Hanukkah in Chelm, a family-oriented musical comedy. Director: Teryl Rothery, Producers: Shel Piercy and Sue Cohene.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Supporting actors (male and female) – adults and children age 10 and older. Actors should be prepared to do a cold read.
- Dancers, at all skill levels, with experience in any of the following: musical theatre, jazz, body percussion, folk dance and/or tap (bring your tap shoes). All levels of skill are invited to audition.
- Singers (adult and children). Come prepared to sing a capella. Please prepare 16 bars of Broadway style musical theatre songs, one ballad and one uptempo. Bring a resume and head shot if you have one.
- If you have an unusual performance skill that you would like to audition, please call to enquire. We are also looking for specialty acts. Most important… come prepared to have fun!

2775 E. Hastings St. (1 bl. west of Renfrew)
PERFORMANCE DATES:
Sunday Dec 11th (at the Arts Club) and Dec 18th (at Performance Works). Rehearsals start in September.
WHO SHOULD COME
Anyone who wants to dance, sing or act in the Chelm play and who is willing to commit to attending regular rehearsals during the fall.
Some folks will just be dancers, some singers, some act, or some actors who do everything.
Bring your friends who can sing, dance or act. or your talented relatives!
