Eat, Drink, and Re-marry!

Would you like to re-marry your spouse? On Sunday, December 7, 2008, you’ll have that chance as the Peretz Centre presents “Huppas and Horas: Eat, Drink and Re-Marry!”

The evening is a celebration of the Jewish wedding tradition, and will begin with a traditional wedding ceremony – complete with Huppa and breaking of the glass – at which six couples will renew their vows.

The ceremony will be followed by a wedding banquet, and then… the entertainment! Kol Halev is proud to be filling that important role at “Huppas and Horas” with a performance that features hip hop, Klezmer, tap, swing and folk dance pieces! The evening will also feature traditional Jewish melodies from singers Stephen Aberle, Claire Osipov and Joan Stuchner – plus an exciting swing dance from David Yates and Diane Garceau.
